Dr. Hsu joined 618 Ventures in 2019 as a Venture Partner.  He is Chief Medical Officer at L-Nutra, a leading biotechnology company using breakthrough science of cellular regeneration to enhance human health and longevity.  In his current role, Dr. Hsu is advancing the science and research behind L-Nutra’s technology with leading research institutions around the world, and is also advancing global awareness and adoption of L-Nutra’s cutting edge health technologies within healthcare practices, associations, key opinion leaders, health policy makers, and payers in healthcare.

Prior to joining L-Nutra, Dr. Hsu was Vice President and Medical Director at the Joslin Diabetes Center –the world’s preeminent diabetes care and research center, and research affiliate of Harvard Medical School.  As Vice President, he led global healthcare advisory projects with an emphasis on digital health technology and population health, bringing Joslin’s best practices into local care practices of multiple countries around the world.  Dr. Hsu also served as an Assistant Professor and Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School for nearly 20 years.

Dr. Hsu received his M.D. from Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York University.  He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine, and his fellowship training in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Harvard Medical School -Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Joslin Diabetes Center.  Prior to medical school, Dr. Hsu earned a B.A. in Neurobiology from Cornell University.
