Dr. Kelly is currently President, Payer and Provider Solutions for IQVIA, a Fortune 500 company and the world’s largest clinical research organization and health data science company.  He is responsible for partnerships with a wide variety of provider, patient, technology, and payer organizations and advancing data sharing to facilitate research and patient care through the use of real-world evidence.

Prior to joining IQVIA, Dr. Kelly worked at Aetna where he served as the Head of Informatics and the National Medical Director for their Fortune 500 employer clients.  Prior to Aetna, he was a Partner at Accenture where he worked with numerous payer, hospital and pharmaceutical clients and led its global electronic health record practice.  Dr. Kelly is a former Navy neurologist and intensive care medicine specialist. He retired from the Navy in 2003 with the rank of Captain.  During his 20-year military career, he served as Head of the Critical Care Medicine department and a staff neurologist at the Navy's flagship hospital in Bethesda, Maryland.  During his last five years on active duty, he focused his efforts on deploying electronic health records and other health IT applications across the Department of Defense.

Dr. Kelly holds an MD from New York Medical College, an MBA from George Washington University, a MS in Bioengineering from Clemson University, and a BA in Russian, Premed from the College of Holy Cross.
