Jey is Managing Partner and co-founder of 618 Ventures, where he leads investments in biotechnology & pharmaceuticals, genomics and big data, and clinical diagnostics.  He has a passion for building new ventures that will redefine the future of human health, with a special interest in cancer and precision medicine.  In addition to investments, Jey actively supports portfolio companies on their critical business priorities by leveraging his deep experience in strategy and financing, business & corporate development, and technology development and commercialization.    

Prior to 618 Ventures, Jey held management roles at both Fortune 500 corporations and at early-stage venture-backed companies including Novartis Pharmaceuticals, McKinsey & Company, Human Longevity Inc., and Navican Genomics (Intermountain Healthcare).

Jey earned his M.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he was an MIT Presidential Fellow.  At MIT, he trained in complex systems design at the School of Engineering, consulted for NASA's space shuttle program, and studied entrepreneurship and strategy at the Sloan School of Management.
